The Moomins are a family of white, roundish trolls with large snouts, created by Finnish author and illustrator Trove Jansson. The Moomins and their friends live an adventurous life in the idyllic Moominvalley, as depicted in a series of books, a comic strip, and animated series. The characters Moomintroll, Moominmamma, and Moominpappa are central to the stories, which often feature magical discoveries, exploration, and the value of friendship.
