Billes & Co Marble, Treasure Box — Anamorphic Butterfly, Large

Fifty-nine marbles in pink, purple and gold — and a secret at the bottom of the box that only appears when you know where to look.
The Anamorphic Butterfly box is the most theatrical product in the Billes & Co Large range. Fifty-nine glass marbles in six varieties of pink, purple and gold — 36 standard (16mm), 7 mini (14mm), 12 pearly pebbles, and 4 shooter marbles (22–25mm) — sit in their rows in a beautiful recycled cardboard box. Remove them and study the base: a butterfly design is printed there using anamorphic geometry. Replace the marbles and open the box at precisely the right angle — and flying butterflies appear, suspended in the glass as though real. It is a genuinely clever trick that never quite becomes ordinary. This is the only marble box in the Billes & Co range to feature this optical illusion, and the Large version offers the full impact of 59 marbles amplifying the effect. Every marble hand-inspected and sorted by hand in Paris.
- 59 marbles: 36 x 16mm, 7 x 14mm, 12 pebbles, 4 shooters (22–25mm)
- Pink, purple and gold palette — soft, shimmering, luxurious
- Hidden anamorphic butterfly design in the box base — tilt the lid to reveal butterflies
- The only Billes & Co box with this optical illusion; the Large format maximises the effect
- Ages 5 and up — small parts, not suitable for children under 36 months
Billes & Co is a French atelier run by Manu and Claire from their workshop in Paris. They source the world's finest glass marbles — currently from Mexico, the home of the best quality glass marbles in production today — inspect and sort every single one by hand, and arrange them into themed treasure boxes made from natural, recycled cardboard and coloured paper. No plastic, anywhere.
