Abri à tricycle is French for bicycle shelter — which is exactly what this tricycle comes in.

The tricycle itself is a miniature metal three-wheeler in sage green with a shaped wooden seat, rotating handlebars, and rubber wheels that actually roll. It is sized for Big Brother and Big Sister Mouse, and the magnets in their paws mean they grip the metal handlebars with complete conviction — no propping required. The front wheel steers, the proportions are exactly right, and the whole thing has the particular quality of a Maileg piece that looks considered from every angle.

The box it arrives in is printed and shaped to become a bicycle shed — which means the unboxing is already part of the play, and the shed stays in use long after the wrapping is gone. A Tricycle Basket and Tricycle Trailer are available separately to expand the scene further. Also available in coral and red. Mice sold separately.
