The Crocodile Mini is the newest addition to Maileg's Safari Friends — a collection of animals made from the softest cotton fabric, in colours that feel considered rather than loud. At 23.5cm long, this one fits exactly in a small hand: pocketable, packable, the kind of companion that goes everywhere without anyone noticing until it is very much needed. The forest green is deep and quiet, somewhere between a river reed and a rainforest floor, and the crocodile's expression is thoroughly unthreatening. He is, in the words of Maileg, dangerously cute.
