At the snooty end, over priced croquet sets with posh names made quality croquet inaccessible and unnecessarily exclusive. That's a real shame because croquet is a seriously good game and in our view deserves wider appreciation. At the other end, low quality wooden balls, thin plastic hoops and mallets made from cheap pine hit the mark in terms of price but miss it completely in terms of design, durability and playing experience. We think good quality well crafted croquet should be enjoyed as much in the backyard and local park, as it is on the croquet club lawn.

New Croquet Premium Black provides a step up from our Croquet Family set, for those wanting a more legitimate Croquet Experience.

• 4 full sized composite balls (84mm),
• 9 enamel coated steel wickets (6mm)
• 2 solid hardwood stakes (25mm diam. x 610mm)

• 1 rule book with instructions for both Nine Wicket Backyard Croquet & Six Wicket Garden Croquet
• 1 heavy duty canvas carry bag with loops and compartments to secure all parts. The bag also caters for future upgrade to a 6 mallet set should you wish to add that later.
