The Banana Shaker is the largest instrument in the Rattlesnake Fruit Shaker range — at 15 x 4 x 4cm it has more presence in the hand and a correspondingly fuller sound. Like the Apple and Pear Shakers, it is handmade from wood and produces a sound that functions similarly to a maraca but with clearer, more soothing tones. The smooth finish and satisfying shape make it one of those objects children reach for instinctively.
