Twins share everything, and these two have started with the bed. The Maileg Christmas twin mice, a Little Sister and a Little Brother, arrive tucked up together inside a storybook, 16.5cm high in all, for ages 3 and up.
Their mattress hides one small piece of cleverness: a line of stitching across its centre, and it folds up into a sofa with a seat and a backrest for when the twins would rather sit up. The bedding is soft, the cover closes over them both, and the book goes back on the shelf looking like any other Christmas story, which is half the fun.
