Anyone who grew up guarding a pocket of treasures from their siblings will recognise Sorrel. He is a 32cm Firedrake from Charlie's Signature Collection, the dragon of legend who keeps watch over a hoard of gems and gold, in purple plush, wearing a necklace.
He takes his look from the illustrations of artist Ali Montgomery, with spikes running down his back to the tip of a long tail. For the collector who already owns a dragon or two, he is the one that guards the shelf. For anyone else, he is a good reason to start.
