Just before lights out, a small finger points at the wall and asks what that one is called. Here, the answer is stitched right beside it. The Constellation Textile Map is a 100 x 70 cm wall hanging in dark blue organic cotton, each star pattern picked out in embroidery and named.
The cotton is GOTS certified and carries Ferm Living's CERTIFIED tag, worth knowing on something that lives in a child's room. The stitched stars give a finger something to trace. Above a bed it becomes a small private sky; in a reading corner, something to look up at between chapters, and a parent's chance to admit they were never quite sure which was which.
