Mader Arabella Spinning Top
Couldn't load pickup availability
The biggest, boldest spinning top in the Mader stem-top family — 17cm tall, 7.5cm across, and every bit as elegant as it looks.
The Arabella is the Ara's larger sister — the same long-stemmed silhouette, scaled up to a diameter of 7.5cm and a height of 17cm that gives it real presence in the hand and an impressive arc of colour when spinning. Handcrafted from a single piece of maple at Klaus Mader's workshop in the Austrian Alps, hand-painted in your choice of blue or orange, and finished with the burned equator stripe that marks every original Mader top. At difficulty level 3 of 6, it is approachable for new spinners but has enough scale and momentum to reward the experienced ones equally. Makes a beautiful display object between uses — hard to leave sitting still for long. Pairs with the Ara (4.7cm) and Spaghetti (3.5cm) for the complete family.

Mader Kreiselmanufaktur was founded in 1991 by Klaus Mader, a carpenter who loved spinning tops and wanted to make them properly. His workshop sits in the foothills of the Austrian Alps, and each top is handcrafted — often by Klaus himself — from a single piece of sustainably sourced European hardwood. Some tops go through up to 20 individual processes: turning, burning, embossing, carving, brushing, painting, and varnishing. Every original Mader top is identifiable by the burned stripe around its equator. The colour method guarantees 100 years of colorfastness.
