Someone in every house is ready for winter before winter has arrived. Among the Maileg reindeer it is the mother, 19cm of linen and cotton for ages 3 and up, dressed for the cold and wearing the look of someone who has already checked the weather twice.
The top is faux fur, the skirt is a woven check, and the knitted collar carries a single red detail, like a berry tucked in for the season. Turn her round and there is a fuzzy tail. She counts the Maileg foxes among her friends, and the Reindeer Father is sold separately, so a grandparent can begin with her this Christmas and keep him in mind for next year's stocking.
