A wish needs somewhere to go, and this one offers a whole field of them. Field of Wishes is a 19 × 19 cm Toverlux silhouette by Kapitein Kalk, a blackboard drawing made to glow once the lamp behind it is on, for anyone who still believes in making one.
Geertje Kapteijns, who draws as Kapitein Kalk, remembers a primary teacher whose blackboard drawings were real works of art, and it set her drawing too. It is now her full-time work, her blackboards turned into cards and posters found all over the world.
