Toverlux, Silhouette by Kapitein Kalk - Snow Queen
Couldn't load pickup availability
Under a wide winter sky, a frozen land stretches away in icy blues, just as every child pictures the Snow Queen's country. Snow Queen is a 19 × 19 cm Toverlux silhouette by Kapitein Kalk, a fairy tale told in blackboard drawing and lit from behind.
Kapitein Kalk is Geertje Kapteijns, an artist in Dordrecht who began drawing on blackboards when her eldest started at a Waldorf school, making her own boards from MDF and blackboard paint. She hopes her drawings help children dream, and help grown-ups stay close to the child they were.
- Snow Queen, a blackboard drawing by Kapitein Kalk
- 19 × 19 cm, printed on translucent recycled PET plastic (Polyethylene Terephthalate)
