Toverlux, Silhouette by Mhairi Hellbrandt - The Moonflower
Couldn't load pickup availability
Some flowers wait for the dark. This one unfolds under a night sky, pale and shining, with small wonders tucked around it, for a child certain the best things happen after bedtime. The Moonflower is a 19 × 19 cm Toverlux silhouette by Mhairi Hellbrandt, lit from behind in the lamp.
Working in Denmark, Mhairi still draws by hand in pencil and paint. She would rather keep the texture and small imperfections of the hand than anything a screen can make, and light behind the picture shows every one of them.
- The Moonflower, drawn by hand by Mhairi Hellbrandt
- 19 × 19 cm, printed on translucent polypropylene
- Fits the Toverlux Lamp and the Frame, each sold separately

Switched on after the story, for the one who wants to stay awake and watch it bloom.
Dutch design, made in small numbers. A Toverlux lamp is bought once, the silhouettes forever.
