Toverlux, Silhouette by Vogel Geluk - Jozef & Maria

On Christmas Eve, someone always asks for the story of Joseph and Mary one more time. Jozef & Maria is a 19 × 19 cm Toverlux silhouette by Vogel Geluk, the two of them from the Christmas story, lit from behind in the lamp.
Vogel Geluk is Linda, a Dutch artist who works in tissue paper, laying colour over colour until the picture only fully shows itself with light behind it. The title keeps its Dutch spelling, just as the maker gives it.
- Jozef & Maria, a tissue-paper transparency by Vogel Geluk
- 19 × 19 cm, printed on translucent polypropylene
- Fits the Toverlux Lamp and the Frame, each sold separately
- A Christmas silhouette to bring out every year
- A decoration, not a toy
Set on the mantel beside the nativity, and switched on by whoever sang the last carol.
Dutch design, made in small numbers. A Toverlux lamp is bought once, the silhouettes forever.
