Toverlux, Silhouette by Vogel Geluk - Little Lightbearers
Couldn't load pickup availability
Three children in Lucia dress walk out into the winter dark, each one carrying candlelight. Little Lightbearers is a 19 × 19 cm Toverlux silhouette by Vogel Geluk, printed from a picture built up in layers of tissue paper and lit from behind in the lamp.
Linda, the artist behind Vogel Geluk, first found transparencies when her own children were at a Waldorf school, and in 2016 she made them her full-time work. Light passing through the layers is the whole point of the art, which is why it sits so well in a lamp.
