Rattlesnake Apple Shaker

An apple in the hand — and a soft, rhythmic sound when it moves.

The Apple Shaker is a handmade wooden percussion instrument carved into the shape of an apple, producing the same clear, subtle sound as a maraca but smaller, warmer, and more considered. The string tag adds a nice tactile detail. At roughly 8 x 6cm it is sized for small hands, and its natural finish gives it a place among other wooden instruments without looking out of place.
