The Rattlesnake Egg Shaker is a handcrafted wooden percussion instrument finished in linseed oil, producing a soft, subtle sound closer to a whisper than a rattle — more considered than a plastic shaker, and more satisfying to hold. At 6 x 4cm it fits perfectly in a small hand, and the natural brown finish is simple and beautiful. It can be played alone or as part of a larger percussion ensemble alongside the Rattlesnake Fruit Shakers and Stirring Drum.
